Whether planted in groups or with other astilbe varieties, Spinell's bold color gets noticed. It grows 24-36" tall and performs best in regular to moist soil and in partial to full shade. Astilble grows well with other shade plants such as hostas and ferns and has few disease and insect problems.
It's also suitable for container gardening. Deer tend to avoid.
