This hardy iceplant spreads to about 1½-feet wide within just 2 seasons. When not in bloom, the small, needle-like, green foliage reaches just 1 to 2 inches high. When the spectacular 1½-inch flowers begin appearing in different colors, the height increases to just 4 inches.
