Resistance to Midwest diseases that affect other basils. Most importantly, Prospera is resistant to basil downy mildew, so your harvests can keep rolling late into the season. Direct seed 2" apart after temps stay above 40°F even at night, and thin to 6-12" at 2nd set of true leaves.
Or, sow indoors 6 weeks before last frost date and transplant at 3 sets of true leaves. Harvest at stem junctions and pinch flowers to encourage growth. An excellent option for intercropping with tomatoes.
